Google launches academic search
Google have now launched http://scholar.google.com - a new search service which focusses on technical reports, abstracts and theses.Areas covered include medical research, economics and physics.
"Google has benefited a lot from scholarly research, so this is one way we are giving back to the scholarly community," said an engineer working on the project.
